StartupÂ® is formulated to provide all of the complex nutrition
in SuperfermÂ® and SuperfoodÂ®, but without inorganic nitrogen (DAP). It
is perfect for musts that do not need extra nitrogen, or when
winemakers want to add all their own DAP.
Use StartupÂ® when rehydrating dry yeast, reinoculating stuck wines,
if your must already has adequate nitrogen, or when you want all the
micronutrients and minerals of SuperfoodÂ® but want to use your own DAP.
Usage: 1 gm/gal of must. Mix 1/2 directly into must when adding yeast + 1/2 when 50% of fermentation is complete.
