Cider 101 Kit for classes - when offered

Brewer Dude is proud to offer Cider 101, a cider class for beginners.   It will be taught at Brewer Dude, 211 E. 7th Street, Lexington, KY by Dr. Jeff Lehmkuhler and Austin Leake.  You must be 21 years of age and sign a waiver. To take the class, you need to purchase a cider kit for $50 plus applicable tax. The kit will be the same one Jeff uses for demonstratiaon during the class.   At the end of the class, if you prefer a 5 gallon kit or a more expensive kit, you can upgrade and just pay the difference after the class.  Parking is available in a side lot and across the street.

Brewer Dude has all your homebrewing supply needs.  Both 1- and 5-gallon kits will available for purchase at the end of this course.

"Participants recognize that participation in Brewer Dude course activities is entirely voluntary. Participation in the course may involve the consumption of alcoholic beverages which may affect perception and reactions. Participants will accept individual responsibility for their conduct and behavior. Brewer Dude or instructors will neither assume nor accept responsibility for an individual’s actions. Also, participants agree that driving while intoxicated is a serious violation of law and of expected behavior at club events and agree that they will find alternate transportation if they are unable to operate a motor vehicle safely and legally. Participants agree they alone are responsible for their actions before, during and after the course events, including, but not limited to, decisions about driving after consuming alcoholic beverages and waive any claim, legal or otherwise, against the establishment, and its instructors, hosts and guests stemming from formal or informal course activities.
