Amber Waves of Grain - EXTRACT

This is a moderate amber, that finds a balance between a hoppy beer and a slightly
caramel malty flavor. It’s a coppery-brown color with an off-white head, generally
clear, but slightly hazy if dry-hopped.
You can detect hop aroma characteristic of American or New World hop varieties
like citrus, floral, pine, with citrusy hops most common. The maltiness is in the
moderate range which can support balance or mask the hops.
It has a medium to high body for mouthfeel and for carbonation. It is known as
Red Ales in some regions, but were popularized in the hop-loving area of Northern
California and Pacific Northwest before spreading nationwide.
Made with North American two-rows, medium to dark crystal malts with some
specialty grains to add character, with American citrusy hops.
