A fine example of an Irish Red Ale!
We have no problems knocking back a few of these beers. You'll find a subtle malt background balanced by a light suggestion of roast/toffee.
Although the flavor tends to lean toward malt the appearance of roasted grains evens that out. There's a light presence of hops but as true to this style it has only a light touch.
The history of this style began as an English Bitter but the Irish rendition produces it with less hops and some roasted grains.
This style is a fundamental component to most breweries.
